Oldest operating road house in California. Reopened in August 2018 to rave reviews. Great beer, wine, cocktails, pizza, California cuisine, darts, and corn hole. Most of the space is an outdoor area next to Los Trancos creek so it's a great spot for a sunny day.

The Rossotti’s Alpine Inn is one of our favorite spots, although it’s a 15-20 min drive. There’s outdoor dining in an enormous beer garden. Food and beverages are reasonably priced; fun fact - this was where the first email was ever sent

This is a fixture in Portola Valley for around 150 years. It has good sandwiches and hamburgers. The atmosphere is a as funky on the inside as it is on the outside.

Mouthwatering burgers and beer just up the road at the Alpine Inn. This place has a super unique vibe that is somewhere between biker bar and old cowboy saloon. The food and beers here are both delicious and cheap, and there's a good selection of beers on draft.
