The United States Mint in San Francisco does not provide tours as all space is needed for personnel and machinery but you may be able to peek in through one of its windows.

This large prison-like building confuses everyone who passes by. But it isn't a prison -- its a mint! Cool! I bet you haven't seen one of those.
