Local bookstore & cafe that offers a quiet place to browse books and enjoy delicious homemade bakery items. Wi fi is offered here so good place to bring laptop & older teens really enjoy close proximity to Mainstay Cottage to get some time for themselves & enjoy good tea & coffee selection.

Great coffeehouse in front and bookstore at the back. Wonderful place to connect with people or be left alone.

Coffee PLUS books? YES PLEASE. The front of this great spot, just a block away from our duplex, is a coffee shop serving Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting beans and they make a great pour over or latte or whatever you may feel like at the moment. Walk through the coffee shop to the bookstore, which is well-stocked with current bestsellers, local authors, and local interest books. Kids section plus notecards and stuffed animal puppets. Easy place to take kids before or after the park. Free WiFi.

Bookworks is one of my favorite spots. Along with a lot of my other recommendations, it is located on Lighthouse Ave (the heart of Downtown PG). Great atmosphere, coffee, and books. Grab coffee, a good book, and relax at the Mermaid Beach House. You can't beat it!
