The swimming pool at Laugaskarð––for many years the country’s largest pool––is renowned for its lovely setting as well as excellent facilities, including hot pots, whirlpool pot, sunlamps, and a natural steam bath. The pool is heated with steam coming directly from the ground and because of this many consider it to be good for your health.

Nicest swimming pool in Iceland, 50 metre pool, children´s pool, jacuzzi, natural steam bath in a beautiful natural surrounding. Also has a gym and a wallyball court.

There are several swimming pools from 10-20 minutes away from the Cabin, in Þorlákshöfn, Hveragerði, Selfoss, Stokkseyri and more.

This place is one hour by car from Reykjavík city and it is beautiful. This pool is cozy and in Hveragerði you could also check out the art museum Listasafn Árnesinga, Hveragerði is the "greenhouse town" of Iceland, you could have a peak inside, and there is a nice bakery named Almar.
