Great Chinese dim sum restaurant! Opens at midday and there's normally a queue on the weekends so get there at 11.45 to avoid waiting.

This Queensway venue was the very first Royal China Chinese restaurant in London. It’s the original and still one of the best. Diners enjoy the fine Chinese food and the lively atmosphere – which regular customers say is reminiscent of dim sum eateries in Hong Kong itself. Popular with business people during the week and families at weekends Come and try his luscious prawn and chive dumpling, glutinous rice in lotus leaves, and his ever-popular Sichuan chilli prawns. The menu is authentic and delightful. Particularly busy on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes when they don’t take bookings – so please arrive early (noon time) to avoid the queue! The restaurant is just a two-minute walk from Queensway tube. Simply come out of the station and turn left.
