If you want to escape the busy city life for a minute, you can visit Kalvebod fælled. Here you have the opportunity to pet cows and goats if you dare, and see birds as it also consists of a bird sanctuary. It also offers shelters where you can sleep, just don't forget to bring a sleeping bag. To go there, simply take the metro to "Vestamager".

You are able to get close to nature, see and touch the sheep and cows, make a bon fire and enjoy the view. Every day they have outdoor activities for children. Moreover they have a lovely café Traktørstedet with organic food.

In summer this place i great to explore on bicycle if you like to get out of the city. Birds, airplanes, cows, horses and marshlands. Go by the kitch "Flyvergrillen" if you are thirsty or hungry. - old school greasy Danish food.
