If you're in the old city looking for a new place to eat, try the No Patio. Set on one of Lagos' many winding, narrow streets, just inside the ancient city walls, the narrow entrance leads along a stone corridor that opens into the main dining room, that in turn leads out into the lovely courtyard from which No Patio takes its name. 'No' in Portuguese means 'in', so don't let the name confuse you. No Patio has a fantastic area for great al fresco dining. The menu is international and Mediterranean with great use of the best of Portuguese products. Many of the dishes on the menu at No Patio draw inspiration from traditional Portuguese cooking with a generous dash of creative flair and imagination. The resulting dishes are original as well as delicious. All the dishes at No Patio are freshly prepared and there are weekly menus to take advantage of the seasonal produce.

This exquisite place, in the town centre, offers a diverse international menu from Thai curry dishes, to carpaccio, duck with fig, creamed prawn soup and delicious roasted goat. The highlight of this restaurant is its intimate and romantic courtyard, which is where its name comes from. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
