General Vallejo founded California. This is a chance to learn about the region's history and see his home. There's a biking path on the grounds and you can walk or bike to town from here.

Faithful representation of 19th California architecture and furniture. General Vallejo was a general in the Mexican American war.

This home was very impressed with the preservation of the grounds and home. All the furniture is intact inside the two story home and the gardens.
