This is a great walk to take in the views from all around the city. There are multiple bridges to cross, making the route shorter or longer, depending on what you're in the mood for.

Take the East Esplanade on a bike ride or walk for scenic views of the city and river! We suggest biking a loop beginning at the Hawthorne bridge and heading north to Steel Bridge (There's a bike and pedestrian pathway). From the Steel bridge, you'll take the waterfront bike path south back to the Hawthorne bridge. Also suggested, taking the East Esplanade south via bike to Sellwood to grab beer or food in downtown Sellwood For bike rentals and to support the community, we suggest using Spinlister instead of Biketown.

I love walking or running around here in the Spring. Lots to see along the riverfront in Portland!
