A truly magical cafe- they independently roast their own coffee & deliver to other cafes and restaurants via bicycle. They take coffee 100% seriously but have 0% pretension. Amazingly personable staff

The best coffee place downtown. Especially when they have a Japanese shaved ice pop-up (check Instagram). Tip: If the shaved ice seems too big, ask for an off-menu "small".

Great locally owned and operated with great coffee. Try the little French bun things, kenalays? Amazing and Joel works hard to perfect them, rotating art .

You can’t go to the hipster capital of the USA and not try a meticulously hand-poured artisan coffee. You also can’t stop a Melburnian from sampling all the coffee she can in a weekend. There are a bunch of awesome coffee shops in Portland and drinking a hot cuppa joe (or a cold one) is one of the top things to do in Portland Oregon. My faves were Guilder Cafe, Courier Coffee and Locale.
