Mount Mansfield. Vermont's highest peak. Elevation 4,393 vert ft. Extremely challenging route Gondola SkyRide up the Cliff Trail or moderate route, follow the Long Trail along the ridge line for 1.5 miles from the Visitor Center at the top of the Auto Toll Road.

There are many options for this mountain. During the summer it's beautiful to take a ride through Smuggler's Notch also.

Some of Vermont's best hikes are located within Mount Mansfield State Forest! Hike to the top of Mt. Mansfield (Vermont's tallest mountain) along various trails, or check out the Sterling Pond trail, up to the top of Smuggler's Notch Ski Resort.
