早期是台灣紡織發源地, 這裡有非常多各式各樣的布料布樣, 如果你對織品有興趣, 一定要到這裡來逛逛!! Yongle market--Traditional Taipei city. Culture all in one. Food, temple, medicine, grocery, market, and lots of people. If you're looking for cheap and cute fabrics be sure to check this place out. Overwhelmingly many things here!

前身是「公設永樂町食料品小賣市場」,於1908年成立,是日人將日本 印花布料輸入台灣後,批發販賣的所在地。後來此處逐漸演變成台灣 最大的布料批發販賣中心,1985年重新改建成一棟綜合市場大樓,一 樓有在地市場美食;二樓有多樣布貨批發;八、九樓還有以演出傳統戲 劇為主的大稻埕戲苑。 Formerly the Public Eirakuchō Food Market, established in 1908, the place is the marketplace for imported fabrics from Japan. It later became the largest fabric market in Taiwan. In 1985, it was renovated into an integrated market building. On the first floor is a local food market. The second floor is for fabric trading. On the eighth and ninth floors, you can find the Dadaocheng Theater for traditional Chinese theater.

原名「公設永樂町食料品小賣市場」,民國前四年(1908)就成立,當時日本的商人將日本印花的布料大量的輸入台灣,其將此地當作布料進口的批發中心。光復以後,日本商人離開台灣,加上政府的鼓勵及廠商的研發,這裡變成全台灣最大的布料批發零售中心。原市場於民國七十一年(1982)拆除,然後在原地重建於1985年完工,並於原地改建為「永樂市場綜合大樓」,總稱“永樂市場”。
