This small, super-friendly restaurant in the Mission is very affordable, unpretentious, and generally open all day. Though it has a neat dinner menu with vegan options, it’s also a prime spot for vegan breakfast and brunch! I love it not only because of the food but also because they generously host and cater community events in the neighborhood. This place is great for a casual breakfast or brunch. Start the day off right with vegan breakfast burritos, chorizo, French toast, and home fries.

Good Mexican breakfasts as your arbuelita would have prepared it. The three-egg huevos rancheros is a deal. Bring your cup of Philz' from across the street to avoid diner coffee.
