A stunning lookout point between Cordoama and Castelejo which offers the most spectacular sunsets, especially in the autumn and winter months. This spot is nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs of the west coast.

Yet another stunning beach on the West coast. It is the closest West Coast beach, around 15 - 20 mins by car just beyond the large village of Vila do Bispo. The spectacular drive down to the beach is not for the faint hearted but you will be rewarded. You can walk north along the beach to reach Cordoama beach. It is a lovely 45 min return walk but make sure the tide is not coming in to cut off your return walk! Be aware that this beach is not guarded and has very dangerous rip tides, so extreme caution is necessary. The restaurant at Castelejo is the perfect venue for a stunning sunset dinner. Just remember something warm for when the sun goes down. Try the Camarao Tigre (Giant tiger prawns) They are out of this world.

You must simply go there and see by yourself! A unique vantadge sight of the wild west coast. 15 mins driving north in Cordoama and Castelejo beaches direction.

Sunset deslumbrante. Um dos meus locais de eleição! Pegue no carro ou na mota, e siga em direção ao Cabo de São Vicente em Sagres. De regresso, dê um mergulho na praia do Castelejo e termine no miradouro da Cordoama com um pôr do sol idílico. Stunning sunset. One of my favorite places! Take the car or motorcycle, and head towards Cabo de São Vicente in Sagres. On your way back, take a dive in Castelejo beach and finish at the Cordoama viewpoint with an idyllic sunset.
