Carmel is a beautiful coast town with stunning views, a great art scene, and excellent fine dining. Oh, and Clint Eastwood was a mayor of this town. That's cool too, I guess.

Come to the picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea and walk downtown where you will find great art galleries, high end shopping, and exquisite restaurants. Dog friendly town! Carmel is also well known for its doll house cottages including the famous Hansel and Gretel house located at 2931 Alta Avenue, Carmel. The Carmel Mission is also a great stop. If you enjoy the morning walks along the beach make that your first stop or walk down once it gets a little warmer in the day.

Quaint village larger than Capitola Village with great food, art and wine. Make a trip in the early afternoon, stop by the beach, go to the village and do some shopping and have dinner. Dinner reservations highly recommended.
