Confession. I'm not a big "pie person" EXCEPT when it comes to this small specialty cafe, known for its variety of fresh pies and other baked goods, most notably the caramel apple pie. They tend to sell out of the most popular pies so you may want to make this a midday stop!

Their pies have impressed reviewers from here and everywhere- the New York Times did a write-up that may single handedly have caused Portland's population to grow by a significant margin. Ask for your pie warmed- it's just better that way. And, they serve mixed drinks, as well as beer and wine and coffee- what else do you need?
