Grand Isle Fish Hatchery Vermont has 5 fish hatcheries scattered throughout the state, which produce more than 1.5 million fish annually for distribution and to stock Vermont's lakes and streams. Grand Isle is lucky enough to be home to one of them! The GI hatchery rears six different fish species and is open from 8-4 daily.
