is one of our favorite villages in the French Riviera and will likely steal your heart too. Located between Nice and Monte Carlo, this commune extends from the Mediterranean Sea (Èze-sur-Mer) to the hilltop with the renowned medieval village (Èze Village). Èze Village is one of the top places to visit in the French Riviera, famous for its beauty, charm, and stunning sea views. The medieval village is tiny, but its picturesque streets will keep you busy for one hour or two. A day trip from Nice to Èze Village is very easy to organize, even if you don’t have a car. BY BUS If you decide to visit Èze from Nice, bus #82 is the easiest and cheapest option. Be sure to take the bus that shows ‘Passage Èze Village.’ The ride Nice to Èze Village is very scenic, so don’t forget to look out of the window! BY TRAIN The train Nice – Èze takes you only to Eze-sur-Mer, which is about an hour walk uphill to Èze Village. Èze to Nice by train can be a good option if you decide to take the Nietzche Path from Èze-Village to Èze-sur-Mer, before going back to Nice. We haven’t tested this option by ourselves, though.

1 hour away from the studio: Tramway L2 (direction Port Lympia) to Garibaldi / Le Château, then bus 82 (bus stop Boyer) Eze is a most worthy day-trip while visiting Cote d'Azur. It is a reasonably short bus trip (1,5 EUR) from Nice and affords one of the greatest views of the French Riveria. Tour the castle and its gardens and take in the small shops and nice restaurants, especially LaTaverne d'Antan. Places to see: 1) Visit a perfume factory "Fragonard and Galimard" - guided tours are FREE and taken by a perfume specialist 2) Walk through the old city 3) Visit the botanical garden of Jardin Exotique on the top of the mountain (6 EUR) 4) Find Nietzsche's path and go down to the sea (you can then take the bus 100 to go back to Nice)
