We love going in this place, they are friendly and so knowledgeable about their products. Love being able to taste test before having to commit to something.

We enjoy this great little frozen custard shop! They have a new flavor every week and then there is their famous Whitser. It is a must stop before you head out of town.

We like going here because it is a great place to get your bang for the buck! We usually order 1 platter and share it because there is so much food. The food is scrumptious! We love the decor in this place also. It is very cozy. Son of Thurman is one of our many restaurants that has an outside patio where you can enjoy your meal.

This bakery is cozy and always has fresh items. There is always the same yummy ones like muffins and donuts but there is also new ideas like different types of brownies and cookies. I love getting a ice chi from here. Their service is always warm and inviting.

Mingo Park is a great place to grab a book, blanket or chair to relax under the trees. It also has a skate park, city pool, playgrounds and pavilions.

Deer Haven Park is one of our metro parks in the area that we love to go for a walk in. It has some incline and decline trails, over water trail and some great trails that go through pastures and woods.

A wonderful park with walking and biking path that is surrounded with woods. There is a working farm based on 1930s with animals. Having several guides around to help with people of all ages is truly a joyful time. I took my grand daughter there just recently and when we were done she said to me, "Grandma thank you for bringing me here. I had a lot of fun!"

Arts & Culture
So the Bare Bowl is a paint your own pottery studio. I have taken my grand daughter here several times to paint Christmas ornaments and birthday gifts. It is a great friendly atmosphere to hang out and paint.

IKEA had its grand opening in June 2017. It is approximately 25 minute drive. You will find any item, big or small, that pertains with your home. A fun place to visit.

This newly built out door mall is filled with great stores from clothing for adults and children, jewelry, chocolates, food, footwear, house and home furnishings, specialty and a wonderful children's playground with seating for the adults.

I love this great little store! It focuses on books for kids but it has games and toys. I have gone here several times to get games for our family and have enjoyed everyone of them. It is a great place to find something for that child, little or big, in your life.

They are warm and friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for or if you want to browse that is great also

Dwight enjoys this Par 28 layout that is nestled in Delaware"s hidden valley that is a 2 block walk, less than a 10 minute walk from our home. Dwight says,"Great golf course to work on your short game!" A pond, trees, and numerous sand traps make this course a challenge for beginners as well as advanced golfers

I LOVE our zoo! it is an amazing place to visit by yourself, with family and friends in a small or large group! My favorite is the Aquarium. It is so peaceful watching the different spices and occasionally you will see a person in the tank interacting with the animals and give a wave to us on lookers. There is shows happening through out the day and if you are there during a meal there are places to sit and eat.

Our local movie theater has been open since April 10, 1916. It has 3 screens and it is a great place to take in a movie by yourself, with a significant other, friends, and families.
