The Fortress of Arrifana is a military monument. It was raised in 1635 in the reign of Philip III to defend the fishermen. Was reached in 1755 by the great earthquake, having been deeply damaged.

The fishermen's small harbor is nice to visit, and in the last weekend of July they do a party for all, with music, sardines and beer.
