With truffle oil on the fries, you won’t miss anything else. Burgers are “little big,” so one is plenty for lighter appetites, but you’ll want to order two if you’re used to gigantic burgers. Another great “to-go” option.

One of the largest urban parks in the US. The famous Wildwood trail starts at the Zoo in Washington Park and goes for 31 miles. Many smaller trails can also be accessed via Washington Park, or at the top of NW Thurman.

Great bulk section, including spices or other things you may want to buy in small “travel” quantities. Very large selection of Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan and other specialty items. The Butcher section has the best bacon, order directly from the butcher, it is not available pre-packaged. Discount Days: 10% Discount on Tuesday for Military, and Wednesday for Seniors – yay!

There is a DVD player in the Owl just to encourage you to make this trip.

Parks & Nature
Less than 2 miles from The Urban Owl is your best view of downtown and is an actual extinct volcano in the middle of a city. Enjoy watching sunset with all the neighbors. Some nice easy and short hiking, mainly just a nice walk. Park at the old reservoirs for an uphill workout/hiking, or wind your way closer to the top for parking about 7/8 up. There's still more than 100 steps to get to the top so be prepared you have to work just a bit for the view. Paved trails, no gear needed.
