Gulhane park used to be a zoo and was built during the Ottoman time.
Now it is an exquisite park that can be reached either on foot with a 15 minute walk over the historical Galata bridge or 5 mins by tram , from down the street
It is also right beside Topkapı palace, Blue mosque, Archeology museum and Hagia Sophia
