When checking out downtown look up what鈥檚 happening at Discovery Green. Each month there is a list of different events hosted by plenty of different companies and activists. To yoga in the park or Pilates with goats depending on the season there will ice-skating and Turkey events. Never a shortage of activities in this newest addition to Houston.

This area has more of a layer back vibe sprinkled in with trendy bars, antiques, clubs surrounded by residential living. The Main Street appropriately called Heights Boulevard has the most up- kept Victorian homes in the city and some cute stores are even hosted in some of these original homes.

Houston Heights is another Historical part of Houston not that far from Montrose. This area has more of a layer back vibe sprinkled in with trendy bars, antiques, clubs surrounded by residential living. The Main Street appropriately called Heights Boulevard has the most up- kept Victorian homes in the city and some cute stores are even hosted in some of these original homes.
Buffalo Bayou Parkway is not really a neighborhood but it spread out between the neighborhoods of downtown, Montrose, River Oaks and Heights! You can drive and park your car along many entry points and begin your activity. This trail includes biking, running, walking with loads of hilly green patches, lakes and sculptures. Public fountains bathrooms police and emergency guides are all along the path. Very safe and family oriented and very exciting to get out and see the city for all different angles in the same track!
