Guide to visit the Historic Center
→ Guadalajara is a city worth exploring, even for locals themselves. Its center or first block surprises those who walk through it, for its beautiful buildings full of history, its temples, museums, and meeting points where locals and foreigners enjoy small pleasures.
There are several ways to get there: taxi or subway (Plaza Universidad, San Juan de Dios) are some recommended to take you to live this adventure. I highly recommend using ride-sharing services.

The San Juan de Dios market or Libertad market is a must-see, with an area of 40 thousand square meters, the work of the Architect Alejandro Zohn, it is the largest covered area of its kind in Latin America. Entering it is immersing yourself in a Mexican hubbub, where its food stalls seduce the smell and the colors of seasonal fruit, clothes, gifts, typical sweets, natural remedies, and even magic potions, distracting the view. In addition, to buy and eat, on your patio, you can drink the coldest and freshest cane juice, difficult to find anywhere else. In front of the market, is the Jeweler Center, in this square the finest jewels are located, as well as delicate pieces of jewelry and steel.
