One of the top 20 pizza places in all of Portland (Portland is now known as the pizza capital of the US, yes!) and this one happens to be in St Johns! New Haven style pizza made by 1 dude, in a wood fired oven. 70 pizzas per day until he runs out. He's a 1 man operation. Order online and go pick up or sit outside by the fire pit and get a cocktail next door at The Garrison.

New bakery in town and OMG THE PISTACHIO CROISSANT. It's like an almond croissant but with pistachios. Need I say more? Excellent pastries and bread and coffee (and French macraons!)

Pho + boba tea right by the crib! This place is run by a husband and wife duo and it's legit. Indoor seating or order to go. The apps, the noodles, the Vietnamese iced coffee, all great additions to traditional (or chicken or vegan) pho soups.

I actually prefer this spot to Tienda Santa Cruz. Small street style tacos are my jam. But they also have everything else your heart would desire from tortas to shrimp cocktail to burritos, enchiladas, and burgers.

Local coffee joint if you wanna walk to something awesome. About 15-20 mins walk. They use Coava beans (some of the best local beans in the city) and also have great tea options along with baked goods they make in house. Lots of indoor + outdoor seating.

Super cute + hip coffee shop with excellent coffees and a few pastries on offer. Very quiet if you fancy working from a cafe for a bit or reading a book. Not a scene at all. Mellow and lovely.

A motorcycle themed coffee shop. Yep! And it's not the only one. There are 3 in this guidebook within 5 mins drive from the crib! See See has excellent coffee and a super cool hip vibe. The vintage bikes are fun to check out as well.

No I don't work for Minor Figures but you can't find it everywhere. Cyclemaster stocks it! Park at the Walgreens if you don't want to park on Lombard.

With more than 80 miles of trails, it also provides invaluable access to nature, exercise, and educational opportunities for the region. Just a few mins drive over the St Johns Bridge.
