Safety & Crime
Like many major cities since the pandemic, the crime rate & homelessness has increased in Seattle. While still a relatively safe city, please be cognizant when walking at night in the following areas:
- Downtown (Westlake center)
- Pioneer Square
- SoDo
- International District
- Hwy 99
- MLK & Rainier
- South Beacon Hill
- University District
When in doubt, walk in lighted areas or grab an uber.
