right in front of our house, there is an odd building- The Negev Center project. it was planned by the arcitect Ram Carmi in the 50's. The Negev Center project was supposed to blow up the architectural wilderness of Be'er Sheva, but remained as a neglected and half-built concrete block.
still it has some local bussnises like secound hand vintage store, foods and more

Little by little it got support from the city of Beersheba, the Israeli Ministry of Education, the Housing and Construction Minister of Israel and private contributors, it moved from place to place in the town, and finally was made a formal zoo. Today they also accept wounded wild animals, treat them and release them back to nature
