Recommend to go to the sightseeing - Miradouro of Praia da Formosa and Miradouro do Alto da Vela to have amazing perspectives of Santa Cruz and the endless beaches .

Not long ago the Portuguese TV found this place and made a television serial . This small village worths the trip . The church is an historical monument but it is a mistreat when it is open .

This blue flag beach is a long, sandy surfer's paradise located where the Sizandro River meets the Atlantic Ocean. With good banks this exposed beach break can be big and hollow with heavy barrels, which makes it more appropriate for surfers than swimmers.
