This is a historical place in the city, where first inmigrants arrived and lived. They used to paint their houses of the color of the flags of their country of origin.
Advice: go there with Buenos Aires Bus, at day-time. It is not a safe neighbourhood at night.

This is a great Italian restaurant, where handmade pasta is served. The cook is a well known chef, and she use to be there in person. I recommend the Aperol Spritz drink while waiting for your food, just like in Italy.

This restaurant is owned by a Uruguayan man, and has great meat! The funny thing is that it is all decorated with Soccer shirts and pictures. I recommend the Pamplona and “papa al plomo” as side order.

There is a double-decker bus, that goes to main neighbourhoods in the city, and it is worth paying the ticket. In the same day, you can visit typical places with the same ticket. It is now suspended for COVID reasons, but I recommend to check the website before coming to Buenos Aires.

Tips in Argentina are not mandatory. There’s no law about them and waiters do receive a fix salary. However, it is recommended and expected to leave a tip of 10% of the total amount paid, including for Rappi delivery boys/girls. Taxi drivers do not expect any tip at all.
