Getting Around
Bus tickets are single use, single trip but no distance limit. It's far cheaper to buy tickets from local shops and kiosks than on the bus but still 0.70 euro is the most you will pay.

Sightseeing
It's close, It's in a park, it's close to the old cemetery and largest lake in town. Oh, and the top is really shiny :)

St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. It's the main church. It's probably also the oldest remaining building in town. Siauliai was, I believe, hammered in both world wars so it's lucky that there are a few very old buildings about.

There are at least 20 supermarkets in town but this is the biggest one within a 6 minute walk. It's got pretty much everything what you might need in there.

It's in the Saulas Miestas shopping mall in the centre of town. About a 15 minute walk from the flat but plenty of other things to do there. Very nice restaurants on the top floor that are often heaving with beautiful people in the summer months :)

Never very busy. All normal films are as original with Lithuanian subtitles however children's films are generally dubbed into Lithuanian.

It's in the Akropolis Mall, also there is an Ice Rink, Bowling Alley, Pool tables, many restaurants, many shops... it's really got it all and everyone agrees it's as nice a shopping mall as you'll see anywhere in the world.

Lovely stadium built originally for the 2011 EuroBasket (European Basketball Championship). It now hosts the local Siauliai Bulls basketball team as well as all the larger concerts and events in town.

Very nice restaurants/bars on the top floor. In summer the outdoor area should be heaving with the beautiful people :)

Zubovai palace was a home to famous Zubovai family, which made in Siauliai lot of positive changes – bringing more commerce and trade here, improving educational level. Now this building belongs to the Faculty of Art of Šiauliai University.
