Great fun.
Watch out in terms of dining, some restaurants are good and some can be tourist traps, I often go to "Skipper kroen" and "Nyhavnskroen47"

Voted as the best neighborhood in the world ... about which I personally have a different opinion ... but many visitors go there, so it's probably just me who's gotten too old .... it takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk there.

Here is no capotino no cafe latte or any other fancy stuff, only the good old black coffee or tea served in a jug. Be careful not to get addicted to this place.

Take the train "Kystbanen" to Elsinore (50 minutes) be sure to have a seat on the right side of the train, so you can enjoy the view of Øresund and Sveden all the way up. Visit the well-preserved Kronborg Castle, where Hamlet lived, you know him "to be or not to be". Elsinore is also a lovely provincial town, with many fun houses and they are famous for their HUGE "Brostræde ice cream" they are a whole meal. From Elsinore you can take the ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden, you do not need any pasports, but bring it anyway, the crossing takes 20 minutes and the ferries sails all the time. And then you can brag about that you have also been to Sweden when you get back home.

Take the S train to Hillerød "45 minutes" and visit this gem of a well-preserved castle, take a round trip and see the beautiful halls and you will dream yourself all the way back to the time when Kings were Kings and where Queens were real Queens for a reason (and not just something they think they are) ha ha.
You can also go for a walk in Hillerød city, but if I were you, I would hurry back to good old Copenhagen. Sorry Hillerød, but you are not as exciting as a city that one wants to see.

I love Tivoli in the evening, with all the lights and the beautiful floral decorations, very romantic in fact, here are many restaurants and of course also the possibility of many rides in the ruchebanen, the balloon swings, the golden tower and the boats on the big lake.

Cafe Sorgenfri er en af Københavns allerældste beværtninger. Huset på hjørnet af Brolæggerstræde og Knabrostræde er genopført i 1796 efter den store brand i 1795. Det vides, at Fru Botilde Marie Madsen i 1882 fik bevilling til at drive værtshus i den lille kælder i hjertet af København. Men det menes at beværtningens historie går langt længere tilbage. Sorgenfri ligger i gåafstand fra Christiansborg, Folketinget, Den gamle bispegård, Domkirken, Nationalmuseet og Universitetet. På Nytorv lå Rådhuset og Domstolen. Her stod en gabestok, så forbrydere og ”offentlige fruentimmere” i fuld offentlighed kunne afstraffes og ydmyges. Søren Kirkegaard har fra sin bolig på Nytorv haft første parket til torvets myldrende liv. Og hvem ved, om vores verdensberømte filosof måske også har gæstet Sorgenfri på sine daglige spadsereture ”Mit menneskebad” gennem kvarteret. Byen var tæt befolket og husede mange notabiliteter og senere berømtheder. I kvarteret omkring Sorgenfri boede eller færdes personligheder som blandt andre H.C. Andersen, Grundtvig, H.C. Ørsted og billedhuggeren Thorvaldsen. Beværtningens genbo var Brygger Jacobsen, Carlsbergs grundlægger, så måske har han nydt en dram på Cafe Sorgenfri mellem sine mange forsøg på at fremstille en bedre øl.
