I am from NY originally, and this place has great pizza. Owned by the son of grandparents who ran the Baby Doll Lounge, a strip bar in NYC. Sicilian slices! Garlic knots! Awesome.

Incredible pastries, both sweet and savory. Breakfast and lunch is also served here, order at the counter. Quiches, cookies, sandwiches, great tea and coffee. It gets busy here but it's worth it.

More than 80 miles of trails to hike! I love that this place is so close to town, as you don't even need to leave Portland to go on an all day hike. There are some great trails for running as well.
