Lallapoolza great cocktails prizes are good for the area, food is good, walking distance from my place. There is another one called Lalla's on Cannery Row that has same cocktails and the best priced stakes on Cannery Row especially for being right on the water. Beautiful views!

THE BEST AQUARIUM IN THE WORLD! Ok I'm a little biased, I haven't been to every aquarium in the world and I worked there for two years and now volunteer doing the feeding shows. But I gave you free guest passes so no excuse not to go! Their only marine mammals are Sea Otters that are all foster moms to stranded pups that are released into Elk Horn Slough. (Go kayaking there it has the largest population of Sea Otters in the world). The tentacles exhibit is amazing with their giant pacific octopus that can get to 30ft long. They have penguins! Corals! Eels! Sea horses! This is my favorite place in Monterey, I cannot rave about it enough.

They have another location in Moss Landing a 20 min drive away there you are guaranteed to see Sea Otters here you can kayak along Fisher Mans Wharf where you are guaranteed to see Sea Lions, but have a good chance of also seeing Harbor Seals, Sea Otters and Cormorants (black diving birds can dive down to 100ft!).

They have another location in Moss Landing a 20 min drive away there you are guaranteed to see Sea Otters here you can kayak along Fisher Mans Wharf where you are guaranteed to see Sea Lions, but have a good chance of also seeing Harbor Seals, Sea Otters and Cormorants (black diving birds can dive down to 100ft!).
Get up close and personal with Sea Otters! over 150 within one area. They will even hop on your kayak, remember do not pet, they look cute a fuzzy but they have teeth made for crushing sea urchins which have the same density as our bones if you catch my drift. Kayak connection has another site walking distance to my place that I will also include but this and the aquarium are the only guaranteed places to see sea otters.
