One of Lisbon´s postcard places! Príncipe Real neighborhood is one of the city’s most iconic spots, located just above the historical center of Lisbon. In this neighborhood, you will definitely find the major best Lisbon has to offer. Not only it is amazingly popular amongst local residents who enjoy its balanced rhythm between tranquility and rollick, but foreigners and travelers who visit Lisbon seem to can’t help falling in love with this place. A must go sightseeing place is Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara which is an astonishing high spot of one Lisbon’s hills scenic viewpoint, where you will be undoubtedly overwhelmed by the magnificent sight over Lisbon, both during the daylight or by night. It is also a perfect location to visit other attractive neighborhoods nearby like Bairro Alto, Chiado or Cais do Sodré towards the south. Avoid bringing a car!! Walk or try the iconic 28 tram!

Driving here can be tricky! Also you might end up spending precious time in the traffic when you could be exploring on foot and getting lost in the lovely tiny streets! You are no more than 10 minutes do the downtown area as Rossio and Chiado, as well as Alfama and within 15 minutes tops you will reach the river! So just walk around and enjoy! Safety is not an issue. This is a fairly calm neighbourhood!
