Parking/car safety
Pay close attention to parking regulations. Most areas require residential permits for parking longer than 1-2 hours, sometimes 4. There also is street sweeping on most streets. Parking tickets are close to $100 so be careful! Breakins to cars are also unfortunately fairly common but you can prevent this by not leaving ANYTHING in plain sight in the car.
