This is a beautiful, hidden gem with an incredible orchid garden and a quiet, meditative area nestled in the middle of Quito. Entry costs $3/person and it is most accessible via Avenida Shyris.

This area is great for those who want an incredible view of Quito and if you are lucky, lots of surrounding volcanos. If you are looking for an active day, you can get in a great hike up to the top of Ruco Pichincha at over 4.700 meters.

If you are looking for typical Ecuadorian food, this is not the place to go. However, if you are looking for Vietnamese and know it is hard to find in Latin America, I would recommend you check out Banh Mi.
