The house is located in Massa Lubrense, in a private residential area called Riviera di San Montano. It faces the enchanted island of Capri, Ischia, Procida and Naples and it is only 4 km from the buzzy Sorrento and 20 Km from the breathtaking Amalfi coast.

The house is located in Massa Lubrense, in a private residential area called Riviera di San Montano. It faces the enchanted island of Capri and it is only 4 km from the buzzy Sorrento and 20 Km from the breathtaking Amalfi coast.

In 2007 it was fully refurbished managing to preserve the original Provencal style on the outside and giving it a more modern feeling on the inside thanks to contemporary furniture and smooth light blue tiles throughout. It has 2 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. A garage with electric roller door (we used to fit a Volkswagen Lupo) is available about 100mt downhill. In front of the garage there is a private parking area where a saloon car will fit comfortably. A small car, a Fiat 500 for example, would also fit in the space in front of the entrance gate. If you have a scooter you can park inside or outside the entrance gate. We always recommend a small car or a scooter to easily move around and sightsee the Peninsula Sorrentina but we have had several guests who were just happy to use public transport or a local chauffeur. Bus stop is a 10/15 minutes walk uphill though. The property has 3 terraces (2 of which are facing the sea) and each of them is furnished with tables and chairs to enjoy the sunset, read a book, get some tan or enjoy a meal alfresco. Also a spiral staircase leads you to a further terrace on top of the house.

Hello we are glad that you are considering our house for your staying. We are Paride and Melania, Dorina's son and daughter. Our Mum has hosted 46 guests for the past four years achieving the status of superhost. Unfortunately she passed away in early July 2016. Nonetheless, we decided to continue her legacy by offering the entire house. It goes without saying that we won't be there to welcome you, to cook for you and to entertain you the way she did but we will do our best to assist you in everything you need remotely. At the same time you can count on either Sonja or Ivan, also brother and sister, both living in Massa Lubrense, not far from the property, who will greet you and take you to the house.
Here below we decided to leave the welcome words of our beloved mother, Dorina.

Hello, I am glad that you are considering my house for your staying. I am Dorina and I have been living in this area for the past 50 years. I am a very active and energetic woman who likes to keep healthy and fit. Putting an extra personal effort in everything I do is part of my nature. I can guarantee one of your best breakfast experience you may think of! Just so that you know I do homemade jams, yogurt, biscuits and cakes, I will provide you with wooden baked bread, tasty fresh fruits, delicious cheese and willing to accommodate any of your requests. I enjoy cooking so you may have the option to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner on my terrace. I love hiking and I have been guiding groups of people along the breathtaking trails and walking paths of the Penisola Sorrentina for the past 20 years. Therefore, if you want to do some trekking excursions I will be pleased to accompany you. I am really looking forward to host some interesting and positive people who are keen to discover the beauties of this part of Southern Italy.
