The condo is located in a 45 unit condominium complex called Clear Water Point Condominiums. There is over 700 feet of Lake Hamilton water frontage. You will often see residents and owners fishing or swimming off of the boardwalk. The sense of community is one of the things that makes this place special, whether you are a guest, a renter or an owner, everyone is friendly and will hang out and have a drink or two. When you are wanting to keep to yourself and read a book, the neighbors are respectful of the peace too.
The neighboring RV Park and Campground, The Vista at the Lake, has 2 boat ramps, a pool and a playground which can be accessed by purchasing a day pass at their office.

I grew up spending my summers at a cabin on the Ouachita River end of Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, AR. In the cabin, there was no tv, and no internet (it didn't exist then.) There was only a radio and a party line phone. (if you don't know what a party line is, you may have to ask your grandparents.) After my parents passed away, I longed for the days where we would read a book, play cards or work a puzzle as the lake flowed by. My best family memories were made at the lake. Twelve years ago, I found a condominium complex right down the lake from our old cabin. It was far enough from the city to get away, but close enough to still go out for a night of entertainment. I have spent every summer there since with my family and have formed great friendships from the community in the complex.
During the Covid 19 pandemic, I found myself staying at the lake more and more. When I left my job, I looked around and decided that this was what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be. So, being an avid DIY girl (@DIYGirlAR) I purchased a neighboring condo from my friends Robyn and Jack. It took me 4 months to completely update and renovate it, partially due to the large undertaking of installing reclaimed wood spanning throughout the vaulted ceiling. I am now pleased to be able to list this space on Air B&B and give other families the opportunities to make their own memories (but with TV's and internet.)
