After twenty-five successful years working as a Senior Controller of Finance for one of the largest North American magazine/book distributors in Toronto, Canada, I decided to make a complete lifestyle change. In 2012 my wife Cathy and our three German shepherd dogs moved to the beautiful North Coast of the Dominican Republic.
My first year felt like a vacation and then an opportunity presented itself to use my Corporate skills once again. I accepted a position as the CFO for the very prominent developer Casa Linda. While in this role, I gained valuable experience to better understand the Dominican Republic real-estate market; develop business relationships and appreciate the culture and lifestyle of the North Coast.
I have now been successfully working in the Caribbean real estate market for 8+ years helping people purchase properties as vacation homes/investments in the Puerto Plata region of the Dominican Republic. Including acting as an onsite liason between my clients and Casa Linda.
As Wildefire properties evolves, I am expanding and offering a fully managed rental program. This program will allow our clients a favourable ROI on their villa investment; enjoying a piece of mind in all aspects. We provide a turnkey solution that will include; rental of the property, villa management, maintenance, maid service, pool and garden service, accounting services, legal services and full VIP concierge services. for our guests
