Welcome to our home! Our private-entrance one bed, one bath, basement suite offers a cozy space within walking distance to downtown Boone and ASU. Seasonally enjoy a 0.5 mile walk to Daniel Boone Gardens, Strawberry Hill, Watauga County Farmer's Market, and Horn in the West outdoor drama. Relax in the screened-in porch taking in a serene mountain view during the fall/winter. When not out and about rest inside the living/dining area and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

Please understand if you are planning to stay more than two nights then we may need to briefly access the laundry room in your area between 11am and 5pm. We will message you beforehand to let you know when we are using it. Please be assured your privacy is respected!

Also, the potential for noise acknowledgment applies to our home and neighborhood. We have a baby that you could overhear crying during the day. We of course try to keep that at minimum. There is enough space in the home that you shouldn’t hear any crying overnight. As for our neighborhood, while outside you might hear neighborhood children playing, music from local bars, and music from ASU stadium.

My husband, Jake, and l moved to the High Country in 2015 and fell in love with it! Having people in our home brings a lot of joy to us. Don’t be surprised if we have other guests in the main portion of our house during your stay. We respect your space and privacy, but if we’re outside and you’d like to join us you’re more than welcome to! I am now a stay-at-home mom, so opening my home through Airbnb is something I can do while caring for my family. Please contact me if there is anything I can do to help make your stay more comfortable and relaxing. I grew up in the Piedmont and coming to the mountains always brought peace to me.
