This beautiful and quiet suite is right in the center of town. It features one large bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a desk, and is separated from the rest of the L-shaped suite by a partition.
The living/dining area has a full kitchen and a small table for four, a study nook with lamp, and a sofa bed. There is also a large bathroom off to one side with plenty of hot water in the shower,
The Wifi is fast, typically from 50-70mbps.
Small pets are welcome. No smoking, please.

This new and clean suite that is very well lit with many windows and views of the surrounding mountains. There's a lot of space -- you won't feel crowded.
NOTA: The sofa/cama can also serve as an extra bed for a third adult or 2 children under 10 years of age. However the master bedroom is only separated by a partition -- not a door with lock.

The neighborhood is quiet, mostly residential with some small shops, restaurants, and massage clinics on street level.
If you leave the door to the street and turn left. It will take you toward the mountain where the "Virgin" hot baths are located. These are the closest thermal baths and perhaps the most popular.
If you leave the door and turn right. The street will take you right up to the cemetery at the top of the hill and beyond that are the "Salado" hot baths.
We're a block from the only supermarket in Baños and the Central Market where you can find tasty local dishes and snacks. The famous Cathedral of Baños is only three blocks away. The nightclubs and bars are also about three blocks away. Baños has a lot of great businesses to visit. Make sure to get out and explore!
PARKING
We do not have our own parking, but there are paid (secure) and free street parking options very close to our home.

Greetings to all. We are Ray and Alegría. I'm a writer and former restaurant owner from northern Michigan, and Alegría is a biologist and home-schooling teacher extraordinaire from Guayaquil. We ran a successful art/café for many years until Covid hit. Now we're working and raising our two bi-lingual children, Layla and Arthur, aged 12 and 17. We also have a dog, Lucy, and a cat, Gigi.

We're quiet and respectful. We keep in shape with yoga and exercise and love art, dance, music, theater, reading, and coffee. We also enjoy meeting people from around the world. We seldom drink alcohol, but we're not anti, rather we prefer going out for a coffee and dessert, exploring new places. We speak Spanish and English.

Saludos a todos. Somos Ray y Alegría. Soy un escritor y ex dueño de un restaurant, originalmente del norte de Michigan. Alegría es bióloga y profesora extrodinaria en casa para nuestros hijos. Manejabamos un café/arte hasta que el Covid-19 nos golpeó. Mientras tanto estamos trabajando y criando a nuestros hijos Layla y Arturo de 11 y 16 años respectivamente. Además tenemos una perrita Lucy y una panterita Gigi.

En general somos tranquilos y respetuosos. Nos mantenemos sanos haciendo ejercicios y practicando yoga. Amamos el arte, la música, el teatro, la lectura y el café y disfrutamos conociendo personas de todo el mundo. Rara vez bebemos alcohol, en vez de aquello preferimos salir a tomar un café o un postre, además de explorar nuevos lugares. Hablamos español e Inglés.
