The Blockhouse was designed by hosts Kevin and Lisa. As the name implies, the building "blocks" of the home interlock together to create a fun, modern twist to a traditional cabin. It offers a little bit of everything to everyone in this secluded retreat nestled in the heart of Hocking Hills - just 1.5 miles from Old Man's Cave and Conkle's Hollow! Private trail, scenic views from the rooftop deck, modern interior, spacious hot tub and state-of-the-art entertainment setup, we have it all!

You’ll be equipped with many modern-day amenities. The premium kitchen offers high-performance appliances, along with all the everyday kitchen gadgets you’ll typically find back home. Additionally, our whole-house water filtration system allows you to enjoy soft, filtered water direct from every tap!

And when you’re ready to relax and recharge, our bedrooms offer a restful sanctuary, with each one offering a spectacular view of the tree-lined backdrop tucked just outside your windows.

At over 1500 sq ft, the Blockhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and features 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths

1st Floor – First bedroom (queen bed), Full Bath, Laundry/Mud Room, Chef’s Kitchen, Dining Room, Living/Sitting Room, Powder Room, Deck Surround with hot tub and 2 grills.

2nd Floor – Deck with gas fire table, Full bath, Second Bedroom (queen bed + bunk twin bed), Third Bedroom (queen bed + bunk twin bed).

The Blockhouse offers 5 total beds (3 queens & 2 top twin bunks).

We are located in the heart of Hocking Hills! Just a short leisurely walk from the cabin, you’ll find our private wooded sanctuary that is truly breathtaking! There are 3 waterfalls, one with a 30-foot drop on the property, along with hemlocks that decorate the entire 20 acres in a beautiful canopy of seclusion. There’s no need to wander off the property to find adventure, for this property offers a labyrinth of trails that will lead you to countless rock formations and spectacular sights.

However, even the most ambitious trailblazer will find there is plenty of adventure waiting right around the corner…. all located within 15 minutes of The Blockhouse. We are situated less than 2 miles from Old Man’s Cave and Conkle's Hollow…in fact, you can walk from the wooded lot straight into the state forest!"
