Nestled on the banks of a horseshoe-shaped pond, our cabin, and sauna are remote and very private. It is surrounded by water on 3 sides, and also has a river running past. The cabin can sleep 6, equipped with one private bedroom with a queen bed, and one open loft with a king bed. There is also a fold-out couch in case more room is needed. There is a full kitchen available as well as laundry services. We also have a bbq and fire pit. (firewood included).

We have spent a great deal of time traveling the world and have stayed in many BnBs. We have designed this cabin to be extra special and private, with all of the amenities we expected on our journeys.

The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen including a fridge, stove, coffee maker, and toaster, basically, the kitchen is fully equipped. (The water is filtered and very good to drink) There is no microwave and there is no TV! A wood-burning stove is the main heat for the winter with backup electric baseboards.(firewood included) All utensils, bed linens, and towels included. We also have high-speed Wifi.

The brand new wood-fired sauna is nestled on a tiny island in the middle of the pond.

There is plenty of room for parking out front.

There is a fire pit and picnic table beside the pond in the back, and a bbq located on the beautiful covered front porch.

The property is a hobby farm with horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Fresh eggs are also usually available. We have 3 large, and very friendly, livestock guardian dogs that patrol the property. They are likely to come and visit you during your stay. You are also likely to see the horses grazing and our runner ducks enjoy a visit to the cabin for a swim during the day. Because of our pets and livestock, we are unable to accommodate pets. (The horses are here all winter and on and off during the summer. Sometimes they go out on pasture for awhile in the warmer months).

The Arrow lake is only a 15 min drive from here and Whatshan Lake, which is the second warmest lake in BC, is about a 20 min drive. There are many places to walk or hike, and we have an abundance of wildlife in the area as well.

Bed and Bale services available. Scaia is an incredible place to ride horses. We have a small paddock available for you to bring your own! Extra fees apply. Message us for more information. (We do not offer horseback riding).

Sledding is big around here in the winter. Scaia is beautiful in the winter too! Located a short drive from our door this is the perfect place to stay for just such an adventure.

We are located in a great area for hiking, fishing, swimming, golf, and horseback riding in the summer, or snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or ice fishing in the winter. Snowshoe lake is a short hike away, or Mt Scaia is a nice drive in the summer as well. We are also located only 15 min from some of the best swimming lakes around. Whatshan Lake is the second warmest lake in BC, and only a short drive away. There are no local restaurants or coffee shops, so please be sure to bring supplies with you. There is a small grocery store about a 15 min drive from here.

The small town of Nakusp is a short ferry ride and drive away. There are Hotsprings and various restaurants available, as well as a larger grocery store.

Hello and welcome!
We both love to travel the world and have visited many Air BnB locations in other countries as well as here in Canada. We love the opportunity to meet real people and families on our travels.

We live on a small farm in Edgewood BC and are excited to host our very own brand new cabin, built with your comfort in mind.

Tasha is an award-winning pet and farm photographer. She travels near and far photographing full farm portraits as well as dogs and other furry friends.

Nathan is a contractor and enjoys hiking in the summer and sledding in the winter.

We also enjoy horseback riding in the alpine, gardening, and caring for our little farm.
