Bjarmaland is an old stonehouse in Hvammstangi. It's a small house, about 55m2 and has three floors with two rooms on the ground floor; Bathroom and Kitchen, the entrance at the first floor, and a cozy Bedroom/Living room on the second floor.

Only 1 minute walk to the Supermarket, the Tourist Information Center, Icelandic Seal Center and the restaurant in the town; Sjávarborg.

Nearby, only few minutes walk, is the Swimming Pool, the Post office and the Bank.

Ruang
Guests have full access to the house with a private entrance. The entrance has a wardrobe with hangers and drawers and a small space where guests can take their shoes off. Stairs lead from the entrance to the upper and lower floor.

The upper floor is a cosy common space that consists of a sleeping area and a living room. In this space is a Queen size bed, a sofa bed (140x200cm), TV in front of the sofa and a few other activities, such as books and board games.

Downstairs are two rooms;
1. A fully equipped bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower (towels are upstairs in the drawers), washing machine and two small closets for cosmetics.
2. A fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, stove, fridge, chairs and a dining table. In the kitchen is also a single sofa which can be used as a bed.

Hvammstangi, Iceland

The thing we love about the house is how small and cozy it is including everything needed in the house. Having the supermarket, ocean, bank, post office and the restaurant only 1 - 2 minute walk away, and the public swimming pool and the sporting hall just about 5 minute walk away is so nice and you never have to drive.

Living there in winter time when it gets cold and dark it’s nothing more cozy then being inside this small house, playing cards or watch TV or just talk and listen to the weather outside. In the summer we often sit outside, do some gardening and enjoy the nature around us, because although Hvammstangi is a small town there are number of activities and local attractions both inside the town and nearby it.

Inside the town we have activities that fits both for adults and kids, activities such as horse rental, Merchant museum, seal watching boat tours, the Icelandic seal center, the local swimming pool and the sporting hall. Nearby Hvammstangi is Gréta’s Ceramics gallery, Reykir regional museum and the Vatnsnes peninsula, which is a beautiful sceneric road with numbers of attractions.

Information center is only 1 - 2 minute walk away from the house. They can tell you all about 1. What you can do, 2. When you can do it, and 3. Where you can do it.
We also recommend using google and Tripadvisor and of course feel free to ask us, the locals.

I’m a friendly person with bunch of interests. - I studied Sport and health sciences for my Bachelor degree and later graduated with Masters degree in Sport Psychology from University of Stirling. - I’ve played basketball since childhood and coached it for many years. - I enjoy spending time with my friends, having a good laugh and making good memories - Though far from being a pro, I love baking and cooking (and eating), and playing cards or watch movies at the end of a good day. My girlfriend is also really friendly and loves meeting people from all over the world. - She’s a Practical Nurse and a Yoga teacher - She loves photography, specifically she likes the nature and capturing the moment that the nature offers - She loves hiking which goes well with her photography and nature hobbies - Her love for baking and cooking benefits me really well. We both love travelling and enjoy new adventures. For instance, the summer 2017 we got our PADI scuba diving certification in Koh Tao, a fantastic experience we recommend for everyone :) We look forward seeing you all and hope you’ll love our cosy home in Hvammstangi
