We live in a quiet neighborhood close to stores, shopping and attractions. Dothan is centrally located to beaches, caverns, white water rafting, golf courses, and over 24 state parks and historic sites.

Hello, I’m Harvest. People ask me why I decided to host. That’s simple, her name is Maria, my wife. Long ago I promised myself that when I retired, I would open a bed and breakfast. Yet the closer I came to retirement the less likely that promised became. Until I began traveling to visit Maria in the Bahamas and using Airbnb. Those trips showed me how to make that dream come true in my present home. After spending years in the hospitality industry I know that most people think of their accommodations as just some place to sleep while making their vacation memory somewhere else. I wanted their stay to be a real part of their vacation experience. So with the help of the universe and Maria , I created Hunters Renaissance. A true vacation experience, right here in Dothan, Alabama.

We named it Hunters Renaissance because When guests stay here we want them to awaken to a new vision of what accommodations can be. Since Renaissance sounds so good with Hunter and it also means reawakening. We think it was a good choice.

We are offering all our skills to make this a once in a life time experience for our guests. Unless of course they keep coming back over and over, then I guess it won’t be a once in a life time……But I digress. I am a retired Doctor of traditional Chinese Medicine, a Wushu Shifu (Chinese Martial arts master), a combat Marine veteran, a life coach and family mediator. I am also an excellent chef and restaurateur. Maria is a professional home manager, house keeper and excellent asian Cuisine cook And a fantastic baker of philippine pastries, breads and desserts. We look forward to using all of our skills to create a premier Airbnb experience.
