You are close enough to everything - but private enough to enjoy what the great outdoors has to offer.

We are 10 mins away from Wakefield & 20 mins from Chelsea.

The Cabin has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and care-free. We have thought of everything so that you don't have to!

We have a fully equipped kitchen that includes a stove, dishwasher, fridge (does not make ice, but we have many ice trays), microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender, and all the utensils, pot and pans that you will need. We even include all plates, bowls, glasses (of course, wine glasses!). See amenities for a couple list!

Our dining area has a table, chairs, and bench, all surrounded by a wonderful view.

The living room or so-called "Entertainment Space" has a comfortable reclining couch, 55" TV, Xbox 360, DVD player, a good selection of dvds and fireplace to top it off. The green game cabinet (on the main floor) is stocked with plenty of board games, playing cards and puzzles to keep you busy!

The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a custom-built rustic bed with a walk-in closet.

The bathroom is also conveniently located on the main floor and has a large comfortable bath and separate stand-up shower.

On the second floor, there is an amazing loft with a great view because of the large windows. The loft has a lounge area with two lounge chairs. This is a great place for playing board games, working on puzzles, read a book or just lounging around.

Outdoors we have a BBQ, patio set, hot tub, fire pit (only open in the summer) and two comfortable Adirondack chairs that are perfect for sitting in with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea.

The main thing you need to know about the space is...we've got you covered!

**Please note that we have a hot tub technician that comes weekly to clean and maintain the hot tub. The hot tub runs all-year!!

The Cabin is perfectly situated in the middle of the woods, giving you your privacy, but it's close enough to everything in the area that is fun and exciting.

Just to name a few:
i) The town of Wakefield (10-minute drive), where you will find an abundance of restaurants, shops, grocery stores (2), corner store, bakeries (2), post office, pharmacy, liquor store, gas station, and of course, the Wakefield Mill.
ii) The Edelweiss Ski Center (5-minute drive)
ii) The Gatineau Park (10-minute drive) great for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and hiking.
iii) The Vorlage Ski Hill (10-minute drive)
iv) Mont-Cascades Ski Hill (10-minute drive)
v) The town of Chelsea (20-minute drive) where this quinte village also has great restaurants, shops, Camp Fortune Ski Hill, and the infamous "Nordik Spa".
vi) Downtown Ottawa (25-minute drive) where we have great restaurants, shopping, movie theatres, museums, the National Art Center and the Parliament building.

Born and raised in the Ottawa area. I absolutely love the outdoors and has spent all of my childhood at our family cottage. Being active and having fun with my family is essential. Our Cabin meets all of these requirements.... close to ski hills, Gatineau Park, the options are endless.
