The rental is located down in the valley with a view to the mountains. The house is a part of the Leir farm.

It is eight minutes to drive to the alpine lift that takes you up the slopes on Norefjell, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. And if you want to ski up, the trails go over the fields all the way to the ski lift, provided there is enough snow. Or you can make your way along the old farm road through the forest. It starts behind the stable.

Two-storey villa, situated in the valley with views to Norefjell. It is 100 km and 90 minutes drive from center of Oslo. Two houres and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL).

It is about 450 meters from the lake and 10 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. It is modest furnished, well suited as temporary work residence. You need to have a car avaliable. There is no easy way to reach public transportation.

There are three separate bedrooms with king--size beds and a bunk bed in each of the three bedrooms. Thus, it is well suited for several families traveling together, each with their own bedroom.

There are perfect conditions for skiing with groomed trails in the field across the road in winter. There is good asphalt for cycling and roller skiing in the summer. There are also good conditions for mountain biking. Xterra Norway Norefjell went through the woods and passed on the path right behind the shed.

The house was built in 1954, but completely rehabilitated in 2015. After the rehabilitation, there is a good standard with waterborne heat in all floors.

It is a very steep hill up to the house. It will be able to offer challenges during the winter. Specially the descent will be exciting, if you are unlucky enough to manage to drive up on a marginal lead.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bathroom with shower, bath, washer and dryer.

On the second floor there is a bathroom with shower and three bedrooms.

The carport by the house is normally in use. By the driveway enterance there are also parking facilities. You may walk the 30-40 meters if it the road is slippery.

Towels and linen are included.

It is 100 km and an hour and a half to drive from Oslo. It is 80 km and an hour and a quarter from the city Drammen.

We are not located in the mountain but in the bottom of the valley underneath the mountain Norefjell. The trip up to the mountain takes about 15 minutes. From the house we view the lake Krøderen and the fields on the opposite side of the road as well as the mountain Norefjell. The house is located just by the road on the west side of the lake. During wintertime the forest tracks are covered with snow an not accessable without skies.

The forest begins directly behind the wall, and if you wish, you might walk across the country to the Atlantic in the wild. The walk will take two to tree weeks.

We recomend that you have a car aviable. It is tree kilometers walk to the nearest gorcery shop. The next tree kilometers of walk you have to carry your comodities back.

There is not many peoples around. In a radius of 500 meters approximately 15 people have their residential. There is no pub on the corner!

Before arrival we send a message with details about parking and keys.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove guard. It will make sure that there are always people by the stove. If you are away for too long, the power will be cut off. Then you will not get heat on the stove, and you will hear a humming sound behind the stove. Follow the instructions in the instruction booklet, and the food will be hot anyway.

The farm clock strikes from 07-22 on weekdays and from 09-22 on weekends.

The seating area by the fire pit up on the rock is shared with the host, other guests and employees on the farm
