Mountain Chalet has unobstructed breath taking views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Located over a landscaped green hill in a village called Majkhali, a peaceful personal retreat and a splendid escape near Ranikhet, at just
* 9 hours drive from Delhi
* 2 hours drive from Nainital/Bhimtal
* 1-2 hours drive to hill stations like Kausani, Binsar, & Almora.

Our mountain Chalet is located at an altitude of 5,500 Feet above sea level and overlooks a gorgeous forest covered valley, and tall Himalayan peaks of Trisul, Nandadevi & Panchchuli
(Best views between September to February).

3 Bedroom duplex villa spreading approx. 1800 sq.ft
On Lower Level (Ground Floor):
* Main Entrance to Living Room with comfortable sitting
* One bedroom with adjoining bathroom common with living room.
* Adequately equipped Kitchen

On Upper Level:
* Master bedroom with bay window having beautiful view of valley & mountains
* Common Bathroom shared between Master bedroom and Third Bedroom.
* 3rd Bedroom has an attached toilet (not bath)

* Outdoor Patio with Dining Area having mesmerizing view of Someshwar Valley.
* Private Garden with outdoor furniture & mountain/ valley views

* Car goes directly to the property (subject to internal road condition due to weather and construction nearby). Alternatively the car can be parked on the street parking, few meters before the villa
* we have 1 car parking space (at the parking)
* Only 5-6 steps are required to enter the Villa from the parking

* 32 inch LED TV in Living room/ 24 inch LED TV in Master Bedroom
* Highspeed satellite Wi-Fi (100 MBPS)
* Kitchenette with appliances like microwave, OTG, refrigerator, gas stove, RO, cookware & serve ware, cutlery, crockery and glassware
* 25 L water heaters for hot water supply in all bathrooms
* Ceiling / table fans in all rooms for summer months (air-conditioning not required)**
* Heaters / heat convectors in all rooms for usage in winter
* Electric Blankets have been provided in all rooms
* Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check in. Complementary Linen change is provided every 5th Day if your booking is longer than a week. Additional / more frequent Linen change can be provided at an additional cost of INR 500 per bed
* Toiletries like Shower Gel, Shampoo, Hand wash, Toilet paper will be provided. The toiletries provided will be running stock (used by previous guests as well) and not as hotel toiletries. We humbly request our guests not to take the toiletries away with them
* Tea / Coffee is with complements from us, and guests do not need to carry the same as part of groceries, unless they want a specific tea / coffee of their choice.
* Power back up is through UPS system, which will power the lights and fans, however heavy electronics like kitchen equipment, geysers / water heaters, room heaters, electric iron, and hair dryers cannot be used on power back up in case of a power outage
* Indoor Bukhari at extra charges of INR 1500 per use

* Bonfire: We can organize an open-air bonfire at an extra cost Rs. 1500 per use (approx. 3 hours)
* Barbecue: Apparatus + Coal can be provided and is chargeable at Rs. 1000 per use

* Our caretaker(s) can cook home cooked food at a nominal charge of Rs. 1,000 per day
* Groceries are to be provided by the guests as per choice or our care taker can bring them for you. Most groceries are available at a distance of 2 Km's away, and our caretaker will take approx 1 hour to bring in the groceries as he would have to walk to the market. We recommend our guests to carry groceries with them if possible.
* Our caretaker(s) have a mountain (pahadi) style of cooking, and can make both veg and non-veg meals. Their cooking style can be spicy, so please explain them about your specific taste at arrival

* We welcome your toilet trained pets at the property
* A One time cleaning / pet fee of Rs. 2000 is applicable for hosting guests with pets (If coming with a pet, please select the pet while making the booking)
* Pets are not allowed on the beds / sofa's
* Please keep your pets indoors after 8 Pm to avoid wild animals to be attracted towards your pet

* Driver accommodation is not available at the property. We can help in arranging driver accommodation nearby (at a village home) at nominal charge (subject to availability)

- We don't have washing machine at the property.
- We have tie up with laundry person, which is available at nominal rates

* Water is scarce in hills and we request our guests to use water wisely. There is no water supply by the Government to the area, and we purchase water for daily consumption for our guests. We will provide adequate water that is required for a comfortable stay, however we expect our guests to understand the situation and not to waste water.
* Our team will inform the guests if the water consumption is going astronomically high (ex. consumption of 5000+ Lts in 4 days) which means water is being wasted. In such case the guests would be asked to pay additional consumption charges for additional water to be purchased. A rational consumption projects not more than 1000 Lts. of water consumption per day (calculated pro-rata) for a 3 bedroom house and so on
