The Sunken Dory is located in a residential area of Rocky Harbour, however the lot is very private as it is situated at the end of the street and in a forested area. Guests are asked to respect that there are often children at play and to drive safely through the neighbourhood. There are also lots of animals in the neighbourhood, both domestic and wild. You can expect to see or hear birds, rabbits, squirrels, dogs, a neighbour's friendly cat, chickens, ducks, and the occasional moose.

Hi, I’m Tara! I enjoy the outdoors, new experiences and spending time with good company. I’m interested in culture, design and the environment. I love to travel and prefer staying in local neighbourhoods over touristy areas. I’m friendly, open-minded and respectful. I’m also an Airbnb Superhost! My family and I have “The Sunken Dory”, a beautiful suite inspired by local Newfoundland culture and the landscapes of Gros Morne National Park. We formerly hosted guests in “The Rustic Tree House” - a charming little hideaway perched atop the trees in our yard (now converted to a playhouse for our son).
