The 1000 square foot carriage house has large picture windows with views of the wooded property and the sun setting through the forest. The vaulted ceilings compliment the open floor plan. The kitchen is fully equipped with upgraded amenities.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, nightstands, dressers & drawers, and a closet.
The covered porch is wonderful for a morning Keurig coffee, afternoon snack or dinner at the table which seats six.
According to Emily, "You will love your stay in the cottage! It is a beautiful setting, surrounded by woods and trails.” Guests have access to the wooded trails on the property. We hope guests take advantage of the hiking paths that traverse through the woods and total about two miles. The undulating hills and changing terrain offer a bit of serenity. It's great for walking the dog!
There is a washer & dryer for guests in the apartment.

There is much that Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Hillsborough and Raleigh have to offer and we'll share what we know. The accessibility of all these towns/cities is convenient. Outlet stores aren't that far as Burlington is about 20 minutes away. Many guests have attended weddings in CH, Durham, Hillsborough and Mebane.
We recommend a short trip (just minutes away) to Maple View Ice Cream for some sweet treats. The view during sunset and the ice cream are a match in blue heaven.
